A family story between Istanbul and Bordeaux

In 2013, the Toker family left Istanbul and began a new chapter in France.

What started as a life decision gradually became a family project, a vineyard, and eventually a shared dream.

Leaving behind a corporate career, Gökhan Toker chose to pursue a long-standing passion for wine and viticulture.

Years of learning, experimentation and dedication eventually led to Château Lacarel.

Alongside him, Esra continued her professional career while helping shape the vision, structure and spirit of the vineyard.

Their children are an essential part of the story.

Defne, an art direction student in Paris, contributes her creative vision through her camera and original illustrations featured on the wine labels.

Kerem, soon to begin his business studies, shares the family’s curiosity for gastronomy, entrepreneurship and wine culture.
